Skill Deck is a behavioral assessment tool powered by real work evidence. We analyze your professional interactions to build your Real Skills Profile, offering direct feedback and actionable insights to help you sharpen your capabilities.

It also allows you to compare your performance across different periods, making it easy to set clear development goals and track your progress over time.

Evidence is any digital footprint that represents your professional contributions and behavior. It is the "raw material" we use to build your profile. Currently, Skill Deck analyzes:

  • Online Meetings: Transcripts and interactions from your video calls.
  • Communication Channels: Conversations and threads in Slack.

Each piece of evidence is mapped against our proprietary methodology, which identifies specific behaviors across 60 distinct behavioral attributes.

The Skill Deck bot is a virtual participant that joins your meetings to transcribe and analyze. It only evaluates you, not other participants. Recordings are stored for a maximum of 30 days and then permanently deleted.

Use the meeting bot workflow:

Deploy a bot in a meeting

  1. Go to "Submit evidence" > "Launch a Bot" > "Launch"
  2. Fill in the meeting details (name, link, language)
  3. The bot will request permission to join the meeting
Google/Microsoft Calendar

This integration automates bot scheduling for your meetings.

You are able to cancel scheduled bots, deny bot entry, or remove it during the meeting.

For free users, we'll only schedule up to 4 bots per month, since we have a limited quota for evidence submissions.

Slack

The Slack integration accelerates evidence evaluation through automatically analyzing your conversations in selected channels.

After connecting, you'll be able to choose which channels to sync. You can also select historical synchronization with up to 6 months back.

The Confidence Index measures the quality and reliability of your profile. It is calculated based on the number of evaluations, their recency, and the variety of evidence types used.

Once you reach an average confidence of 10%, you unlock:

  • Public Profile: A professional landing page with a unique URL.
  • Monthly Reports: Deep-dive analytics into your performance.
  • Advisor Picks: Curated, personalized development content.
  • Superpowers: Automatic generation of your top professional highlights.

Target is where you define your professional goals. Each target runs in 4-month cycles, allowing you to measure your progress and compare results over time.

You can choose one of two paths for your target:

Behavioral Attributes

Select 1 to 5 attributes and set your goal for either the average or maximum score you want to achieve for each.

Confidence Level

Choose a specific confidence percentage (1–100%) you aim to reach by the end of the cycle.

The Dashboard is your visual command center for tracking active goals. It translates your evidence into real-time data, showing you exactly where you stand within your current 4-month cycle.

The Team Section provides managers with a centralized, visual workspace to monitor collective development and individual growth in one screen.

Your public profile is unlocked when you reach 10% average confidence. It includes:

  • Your competency deck
  • Competency scores
  • Confidence level
  • Your "superpower" (a phrase generated based on your strongest attributes)
  • 4 highlights created by our AI based on your history

You create a unique URL to share your profile. PRO users can customize their shareables.

We take your privacy very seriously. Skill Deck:

  • Doesn't use cookies
  • Ensures confidentiality of your information
  • Deletes raw data after 30 days
  • Maintains only anonymous analyses and metadata
